Tanya Levin writes about the relationship between Hillsong and Mercy and why they were a match made in heaven, courtesy of the Sydney Morning Herald.
Ruth Pollard of the SMH lists a number of corporate sponsors who are readily divesting themselves of an association with Mercy, including Rebel Sport, LG and Bunnings. Strangely though, Gloria Jeans is still hanging in their - I wonder why?
Another report from the SMH draws out the "incestuous" links between Gloria Jeans and Mercy. The line Mercy seem to be running with is that these girls are just discontented, nobody forced them into the program - "ah but you did lure mentally vulnerable girls in with hope and then mentally rape them".
AgainRuth talks with the AMA about the ethics of Mercy's treatment and the use of minders in private medical consults with doctors.
And what do you know more women have come forward, spurred on by the knowledge that the treatment was not isolated or the work of a couple of bad eggs nor a couple of winging women.

have you checked the document on gloria jean's site? They deny any association with Hillsong. Yeah, Right!
The whole "it's voluntary!" thing sort of overlooks the fact that women are required at the start to put down a $200 dollar deposit that covers "incidental and medical expenses", per question 6 of Mercy Ministries' own Frequently Asked Questions
